When TRC and its companies think about tire repair and sustainability, we think big. But when we added up the annual number of tires repaired around the globe, even we were surprised at the impact.
As a world leader in tire repair, we added up every individual tire repair unit sold last year and used some external data sources such as the British Petroleum Statistical review of world energy and the United States Environmental Protection Agency data to put the volume in context. This produced some significant findings.

- More oil would be saved than is consumed globally for 6 hours
- If placed tread to tread, the repaired tires would circle the earth’s equator twice
This makes us proud to contribute to a more sustainable world. Helping our customers extend the usable life of their assets is what TRC is all about.

Mas quando adicionamos o número anual de pneus reparados em todo o mundo, ainda ficamos surpresos com esse impacto.
Como líder mundial em reparação de pneus, adicionamos todas as unidades de reparação de pneus individuais vendidas no ano passado e usamos algumas fontes de dados externos, como a “BP relatório estatístico de energia global” e os dados da
“Agência de Proteção Ambiental dos Estados Unidos” para colocar o volume em contexto. Isso produziu algumas descobertas significativas.
Se cada reparo para pneu que a TRC fabricou reparou um pneu, e portanto, impediu a produção de um novo pneu de substituição:
● Mais óleo seria economizado do que é consumido mundialmente por 6 horas
● Se colocarmos os pneus reparados alinhando banda com banda poderíamos contornar a terra duas vezes pela linha do Equador
